Yogi Adityanath asks officials to ramp up COVID treatment facilities in NCR cities

For Yogi Adityanath, the cities falling under the National Capital Region (NCR) remains a matter of worry as the cities have reported a high number of Coronavirus cases. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday directed state health officials to improve COVID-19 treatment facilities in these cities.

While chairing the meeting with senior officials, the Chief Minister emphasized on taking “extra care” of districts like Gautam Buddh Nagar, Ghaziabad, Meerut, Baghpat, Hapur, and Bulandshahar. Yogi Adityanath directed his officials to make sure that COVID-19 hospitals in the NCR districts have adequate beds and doctors for the patients.

The Chief Minister also explained the rules and regulations to be followed during the unlock period. He said that the official and on-ground workforces need to be extra vigilant to enforce the discipline.

The Chief Minister further directed the officials to conduct a survey in the state’s industrial units to identify employment opportunities for the migrant workers. So far, 57.12 lakh laborers have got work under the MNREGS in the state which is the highest in the country.
