Violence erupts in Malmo in Sweden after anti-Islamic activities
The Malmo city in the south of Sweden suffered a massive riot on Friday, August 28, when a group of 300 Muslim refugees set the city on fire in protest of some anti-Islamic acts.
The Police informed that the protestors burnt tyres and police vehicles. The protesters also pelted stones and other objects at police officers. The Police informed that earlier in the day, some members of the right-wing group burnt a copy of Quran.
The Police and the city administration accepted that the situation went out of their control, but they are trying hard to bring back the normalcy in Malmo.
Sweden was one of the few European countries that accepted the Muslim refugees from Syria and other parts of West Asia after the ISIS insurgency. Unfortunately, the otherwise peaceful country has been witnessing such extreme activities since the entry of Muslim refugees.
