Sushant Singh Rajput’s death probe continues: Police questions his doctors

Sushant Singh Rajput breathed his last on 14th June 2020 and it was declared that the late actor had committed suicide but the investigation is still going on at various levels to detect if there was any foul play in the entire episode. Today, Mumbai Police questions four doctors in Mumbai with whom Sushant was in touch with for medical supervision.

A prescription of a psychiatrist was found in the flat of the deceased actor and today the doctor was called for questioning. From the same Psychiatrist, it was known that the actor was in touch with three other doctors of renowned hospitals of Mumbai. It was revealed that Sushant was battling depression for six months and was under medication.

Though Mumbai Police found no trace of any murder, yet they are in tremendous pressure from the fans and loved ones of the actor to interrogate further. Actress Rhea Chakraborty has requested Amit Shah for a CBI inquiry. Many politicians of Bihar have also requested for a deeper investigation of the matter.

However, today, latest reports suggest that the Maharashtra home minister Anil Deshmukh has said that there is no CBI’s intervention required here as he stated that the Mumbai Police do not suspect any foul play in relation to Sushant’s suicide so far and so, he doesn’t think that a CBI probe is necessary here.

So far, around 35 people have been questioned by the Mumbai Police in the case which includes Sushant’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, last co-star (from ‘Dil Bechara’) Sanjana Sanghi, and filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
