Shahid Afridi, Former Pakistan Cricket skipper, has tested positive for the Corona Virus infection. Afridi revealed this information through a tweet where he asked for blessings to get well soon.
“I’ve been feeling unwell since Thursday; my body had been aching badly. I’ve been tested and unfortunately, I’m covid positive. Need prayers for a speedy recovery, InshaAllah,” Afridi tweeted.
It is to be noted that the Pakistan all-rounder is the third Pakistani cricketer to test positive for the novel COVID19. Before him, Taufeeq Umar and Zafar Sarfaraz have been tested positive.
Shahid Afridi has been in the news for quite some time for his arrogant words against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. India cricketers Harbhajan Singh and Yuvraj Singh, who had earlier supported Afridi for his donation call, were also trolled for supporting someone who hates India. Later, both Yuvraj Singh and Harbhajan Sigh apologized to their fans and promised not to get trapped in such propaganda.
