Security forces arrest two suspected terrorists in Kashmir, recover arms and ammunition
“An AK-47 rifle, an M4 US Carbine, 6 Chinese Pistols & magazines recovered from a truck coming from Jammu”, informed the Srinagar-based Defence PRO.

In another successful operation in the Kashmir valley, the Indian security forces have arrested two suspected terrorists near Jawahar Tunnel in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kulgam district. It was a joint operation conducted by CRFP and J&K Police that took place in the late-night on Tuesday, September 8.

The security forces have recovered a large cache of arms and ammunition from the two arrested suspected terrorists. “An AK-47 rifle, an M4 US Carbine, 6 Chinese Pistols & magazines recovered from a truck coming from Jammu”, informed the Srinagar-based Defence PRO.
The Jammu and Kashmir Police informed that “both are suspected terrorists and belong to south Kashmir. Further investigation in the case is underway.”
Sources say the recovered arms and ammunition were transported from across the borders. Sources also inform that these arms were supposed to be delivered to the local commanders of the terrorist groups.
