PM Modi to discuss Atmanirbhar Bharat and Unlock 2.0 in his Address to the Nation

Speculations rise as Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to address the nation at 4 PM today. The sources say that he is going to talk about the precautionary measures the people should take under the Unlock 2.0.
The government of India yesterday released the guidelines for Unlock 2.0. As per the new measures, schools, colleges, educational institutions, cinemas, gymnasiums, swimming pools, entertainment parks, theatres, bars, auditoriums, assembly halls, and similar places, and even metro services will continue to remain shut until July 31.
However, the Ministry of Home Affairs said that an attempt has been made to make it easier for business entities like industries and shops. Night curfew timings have also been relaxed and will now be imposed only from 10 pm to 5 am. This is expected to allow the shift system in manufacturing units.
PM Narendra Modi is also expected to brief the nation on the rising tension between India and China. India lost 20 brave soldiers in the Galwan Valley along the LAC on June 15. The government responded quickly and beefed up its security along the LAC. It also amended the earlier agreements that restricted the use of bullets by the soldiers.
PM Modi has already described in detail how India gave a befitting reply to China by killing its soldiers. He assured the nation during his radio show ‘Mann Ki Baat’ on Sunday, June 28 no one can challenge India and it has all the right to protect its sovereignty. Â Â
Along with this, PM Modi is also expected to urge the nation to promote local-made goods under the Atmanirbhar Bharat campaign. In a call to boycott China, the government has already taken many decisions. It has canceled many contracts given to Chinese companies. The latest blow to China came in the form of a ban on 59 Chinese mobile apps.
