Narendra Modi, on Sunday, September 13, inaugurated the 193 km extension of the LPG pipeline from Durgapur in West Bengal to Banka in Bihar, and two LPG bottling plants in Banka and in East Champaran’s Harsiddhi.

Narendra Modi started his address by paying tribute to Bihar’s ace politician and former RJD leader Raghuvansh Prasad Singh who died on Sunday morning of the post-COVID complications.

During his address to the people of Bihar and India, PM Narendra Modi said that Bihar has for long been a victim of a peculiar mindset. He mentioned examples like when the road projects were announced, local politicians would frown upon and used to ask what do these have to offer to those who walk on foot and do not have vehicles. Modi said that the same mindset also impacted the state’s education systems.

Further, he praised Bihar’s Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and said that the last 15 years have been of Sushasan. Infrastructure has improved. New medical and engineering colleges, law institutes, and polytechnics have come up. Modi also added that Nitish Kumar has a very important role to play in ensuring that the process continues.

Eventually, the Bhartiya Janata Party’s national prudent J P Nadda had announced that the NDA will jointly contest the elections in Bihar and JD(U) leader Nitish Kumar shall remain NDA’s face for the post of Chief Minister.
