Mumbai Police to question Mahesh Bhatt for his role in Sushant’s death

And finally, the Mumbai Police summons filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt for interrogation in the Sushant Singh Rajput suicide case. Mahesh Bhatt will have to record his statement at the Bandra Police station on Monday, July 27.

Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh informed about this development. Though, confirmation from the Mahesh Bhatt team is yet to be received for his presence.

Sources also confirmed that high profile director Karan Johar might also be called for questioning by the Mumbai Police.

Interestingly, Mahesh Bhatt and Karan Johar are the two names that have constantly been talked about for their alleged role in the Sushant Singh Rajput suicide case. While Mahesh Bhatt’s role is discussed for his alleged relationship with Sushant’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, Karan Johar is said to have impacted Sushant’s career for the former’s favoritism for the ‘insiders’ of the Bollywood.

Bollywood celebrities like Kangana Ranaut, Shatrughan Sinha, Shekhar Suman, and now AR Rahman have confirmed the presence of a “gang” that governs the career of all those who come from outside to Bollywood, or the ‘outsiders’. Eventually, Sushant Singh Rajput was also an ‘outsider’ who came from Patna and achieved success on his own.

So far, Mumbai Police has questioned 37 people who are related to Sushant’s life, personally or professionally. Sushant Singh Rajput died on June 14 in Mumbai. As of now, it is suspected that he committed suicide.
