Mumbai Police to interrogate Sanjay Leela Bhansali in Sushant Sigh Rajput suicide case
The Sushant Singh Rajput suicide case is taking new turns every day. The Mumbai Police, that is investigating the foul play in this case, is calling new personalities every day for questioning.
The latest one to be called for interrogation is filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali. According to sources, Bhansali will be interrogated over two of his films – ‘Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela’ and ‘Bajirao Mastani’. Both the movies were first offered to Sushant Singh.
Police want to understand the status of the relationship between Yashraj Films and Sushant Singh Rajput. Sushant had to deny both the offers by Sanjay Leela Bhansali which, eventually, became blockbusters. Police suspect that this could be one of the reasons for Sushant’s deteriorating relations with Yashraj Films, and eventually leading to his depression.
The Police has, so far, interrogated 28 people in Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide case. The Mumbai Police also called filmmaker Shekhar Kapur to take his statements. Shekhar Kapur had claimed that he knew the story of the people that let Sushant down as he would weep on his shoulder.
