Kanpur Authorities raze down the house of Vikas Dubey

After Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s assurance to the families of the eight policemen who lost their lives, the Uttar Pradesh Police has started the search operation for Vikas Dubey. The UP Police has suspended Chaubepur Police Station Officer Vinay Tiwari. Tiwari is suspected to have leaked the information about Police Team’s movements to accused Vikas Dubey.

The Kanpur district authorities have also come into the action. They razed down the house of Vikas Dubey, the history-sheeter and the mastermind behind the murder of eight police officials. These policemen were on a mission to arrest Vikas Dubey but were gunned down by his goons.

The Kanpur Police has also put a cash reward of Rs 50,000 for providing information about criminal Vikas Dubey and his men. Police said that the identity of the information provider will be kept secret.

The Police teams are scanning more than 500 mobile phone numbers to trace the movements of Vikas Dubey. The Police are also actively conducting raids to arrest him. The state government has deployed 100 teams of police to nab Vikas Dubey.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, on Friday, July 3, had met the families of the slain policemen. He announced financial assistance of Rs one crore each to the bereaved families and assured them that the criminals will be brought to justice at earliest.
