Eventually, Army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa has ordered an inquiry into the ‘Karachi incident’. He sought every information on the series of events that led to this massive protest.
The order by the Army Chief came after PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari while addressing a news conference, requested the army chief and Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Director General Lt Gen Faiz Hameed to investigate how the Sindh police chief was pressured into registering a case against the PML-N leader.
Clearly, with the direct intervention of the Pakistan Army in civil matters shows the gravity of the situation in Pakistan. As per experts, Pakistan is on the verge of a civil war. The public of Pakistan had already rejected Imran Khan Ziyazi’s governance. Now with Qamar Javed Bajwa’s intervention, the public has further gone in support of the opposition leaders who have come together to rattle down the Imran Khan government.
