Is Pakistan on the verge of a civil war?

As per reports, the IG of Karachi Police has gone on holiday with the entire Police department in Karachi province. It is said that the IG showed his discomfort on the way Captain Safdar was arrested on October 19.

The city of Karachi, which has been in news for political reasons, got jolted by a bomb blast in Shireen Jinnah Colony on Wednesday, October 20. As per the reports, six people got injured in the blast. The reports claim that the explosive device was fitted in a motorcycle parked outside a tire shop near the bus terminal.

All the injured have been shifted to the nearby hospital. The condition of the two injured is said to be critical.

Meanwhile, the political turmoil continues in Karachi, Pakistan. As per reports, the IG of Karachi Police has gone on holiday with the entire Police department in Karachi province. It is said that the IG showed his discomfort on the way Captain Safdar was arrested on October 19.

Eventually, Army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa has ordered an inquiry into the ‘Karachi incident’. He sought every information on the series of events that led to this massive protest.

The order by the Army Chief came after PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari while addressing a news conference, requested the army chief and Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Director General Lt Gen Faiz Hameed to investigate how the Sindh police chief was pressured into registering a case against the PML-N leader.

Clearly, with the direct intervention of the Pakistan Army in civil matters shows the gravity of the situation in Pakistan. As per experts, Pakistan is on the verge of a civil war. The public of Pakistan had already rejected Imran Khan Ziyazi’s governance. Now with Qamar Javed Bajwa’s intervention, the public has further gone in support of the opposition leaders who have come together to rattle down the Imran Khan government.
