India sends 58MT of humanitarian aid to Beirut

India extends its helping had to the Lebanese government. India sends 58 MT of humanitarian aid to help the people of Beirut. The aid primarily includes crucial medical and food supplies.

India’s Minister of External Affairs Dr. S Jaishankar, in his tweet, showed solidarity with the Lebanese people. He informed that the aid has been sent to Beirut by IAF C17 aircraft.

A massive explosion occurred at the port of Beirut on August 4, leaving the city completely devastated. At least 158 people lost their lives in the explosion, while more than 6000 people are reported injured.
