ED to investigate money laundering in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death; seeks FIR copy from Bihar Police

As the confusion prevails on the transfer of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case to CBI, the Enforcement Director (ED) has wasted no time in taking cognizance in the money trail. In the FIR filed with Bihar Police, Sushant’s father claimed that Bollywood actress and the prime accused in the death case, Rhea Chakraborty took Rs 15 crore from Sushant Singh Rajput.
The Enforcement Directorate has filed a money laundering case in this matter. The ED has also asked for a copy of the FIR from the Bihar Police. As per sources, an Enforcement Case Information Report (ECIR) has been filed in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. Under this case, the ED will look out for any financial irregularities done against the deceased actor.
Meanwhile, the call for transferring the case to CBI is growing stronger day by day. What started as a fans’ movement, many celebrities have now joined the movement. They all are asking the Maharashtra Government to handover the case to CBI.
Now the politicians have also raised their voices against the alleged irresponsible attitude shown by Mumbai Police in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi has questioned Mumbai Police. In a tweet, Modi wrote that Mumbai Police is obstructing the probe being conducted by Bihar Police. He further says that the case should be transferred to the CBI.
