Delhi’s Health Minister hospitalized, tests negative for COVID-19

Delhi’s Health Minister Satyendra Jain has been admitted to the hospital last night on June 15. He was having high fever and difficulty breathing. He was admitted to Rajiv Gandhi Super Speciality Hospital. He was also tested for coronavirus, which showed negative results.

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Satyendra Jain was one of the attendees of the meeting chaired by Union Home Minister Amit Shah on June 14 along with Arvind Kejriwal and others.

Satyendra Jain broke his hospitalization news through a tweet today morning. He wrote, “Due to high-grade fever and a sudden drop of my oxygen levels last night I have been admitted to RGSSH. Will keep everyone updated (sic)”.

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal wished him speedy recovery when he replied to his minister’s tweet. Kejriwal wrote, “You kept serving the public 24*7 without taking care of yourself. Please take care of your health and get well soon.”

Arvind Kejriwal himself had to test for coronavirus when last week he showed symptoms of cough coal and fever. He had also tested negative.

With over 42,000 COVID-19 cases and increasing every day, Delhi is the third most COVID-19 infected states in India after Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu.
