Delhi Government to create Plasma Bank to treat COVID19 patients

The Delhi’s Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has said that the Delhi government will be creating a plasma bank for plasma therapy for COVID-19 patients.
Arvind Kejriwal informed that the new Plasma Bank will be developed inside the Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences in Delhi. Kejriwal also said that this bank will start operating in the next 2 days.
However, Arvind Kejriwal also clarified that the Plasma will also be given on official recommendation by a doctor. Any random person cannot take plasma from the bank. The patients would need a proper prescription from the doctor.
Further, Kejriwal urged the patients in Delhi to donate their plasma. He said that those patients who have recovered from coronavirus infection should come forward and donate plasma. He said that it would be one of the biggest donations that they would do to save mankind.
