Congress suspends Sanjay Jha from the party from ‘immediate effect’

It appears that the Congress Party is on an spree of taking disciplinary actions. After sacking Sachin Pilot from the posts of Dy Chief Minister and President of the Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee, Congress now sacks Sanjay Jha from the party from ‘immediate effect’.
Sanjay Jha used to be the spokesperson of the Congress Party until he wrote an article arguing an introspection by the Congress leadership. He was removed from the post of official spokesperson in the month of June. And now, he has been formally thrown out of the party.
Congress says it has taken this action after reviewing Sanjay Jha’s recent statements. Congress found Jha involved in ‘anti-party activities’.
Earlier on Tuesday July 14, Congress removed Sachin Pilot from the post of president of the Pradesh Congress Committee after he refused to attend CLP called by Ashok Gehlot for the second time.
