CM Nitish Kumar recommends CBI probe in Sushant Singh’s death

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has finally recommended the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) inquiry into the Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case.

CM Nitish Kumar said that the government is recommending the CBI probe in the matter, as per the procedure. The recommendation will be sent by Tuesday evening. He also said that the required procedures have already been initiated.

The Chief Minister said that the consent of the family was required for this recommendation. As KK Singh Ji, the father of the deceased actor has given his consent for the CBI inquiry to Gupteshwar Pandey, DGP Bihar, the government is taking the required action.

CM Nitish Kumar also criticized the acts of Maharashtra Government and the Mumbai Police. The CM said that he was hurt on the way Bihar Police officials were treated in Mumbai. He also criticized the act of sending Patna SP Vinay Tiwari to a 14-days quarantine.

Ironically, the Mumbai Police has put itself into troubled waters due to the way it handled the matter in the last 51 days. In fact, the Mumbai Police did not pay any attention to the complaints submitted by Sushant Singh Rajput’s family in the month of February. Sushant’s brother-in-law and ADG in Haryana Police, OP Singh had sent several messages to Mumbai Police where he mentioned that there is a threat to Sushant’s life.

The demand for the CBI probe into the matter was growing rapidly. Though, the recommendations should have come from the Maharashtra Chief Minister. But the Uddhav Thackeray-led Agadi government in Maharashtra rejected the demand.

Now that the CBI inquiry has been recommended in this case, the fans and followers of Sushant Singh Rajput now expect that the truth shall come out now.
