
In a bizarre twist given to a tragedy caused due to high-level corruption, now the Bihar Minister and brother of Deputy Chief Minister, Tej Pratap accused Bharatiya Janta Party of deliberately demolishing the Bhagalpur Khagaria Bridge.
The Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change in the Government of Bihar, Tej Pratap told reporters that his government has been developing the bridge but it is the BJP that does not want any development and thus causing damage to the bridge. Earlier, his younger brother and the Deputy CM, Tejaswi Yadav, while briefing the media, said that there is some bad omen that is causing all the harm to the development work in Bihar. “Bihar ko pata nahi kisi ki nazar lag gayi hai.”

So far, the Bihar government has not taken any responsibility for this tragedy where more than Rupees 17 crore of taxpayers’ money was submerged in the Ganga. The state government has ordered an inquiry into the collapse of the bridge. The inquiry will be conducted by a team of engineers and experts. The team will submit its report within a month.
