Army eliminates 3 Jaish terrorists in Kulgam’s Nagnad-Chimmer region in J&K

Completing another successful operation in the Kashmir valley to make it free of terrorists, the Indian Army eliminated at least three terrorists in the Nagnad-Chimmer area of Kulgam district in Jammu and Kashmir.

Reacting on the credible inputs about the presence of some terrorists, a joint team of Kulgam Police, 9 RR, and CRPF unit launched a cordon operation in the early hours on Friday, July 17 in the Nagnad-Chimmer area.

It is reported that the terrorists belonged to Jaish-e-Mohammed terror outfit. It is also believed that one of the eliminated terrorists was a top Jaish commander and an IED expert.

It is also reported that three jawans also got injured during the operation. The injured jawans have been shifted to the hospital.

The security forces are combing the area to rule out the presence of any other terrorist.
