After Breathing Difficulties, COVID Positive Actress Aishwarya Rai & Daughter Aaradhya Shifted To Nanavati Hospital
Aishwarya and daughter Aaradhya Bachchan were in home isolation after being tested positive last week but yesterday they have been shifted to Mumbai’s Nanavati Hospital after complaints of breathing difficulties. Actor-husband Abhishek Bachchan and Mega Star – Father In Law, Amitabh Bachchan are already admitted in the isolation ward of the same hospital for COVID treatment.
A hospital source told PTI “Both Aishwarya and Aaradhya were admitted to Nananvati hospital today. They are fine.”
Last Sunday, 77-year-old Amitabh Bachchan tweeted that he had tested positive for the virus. His tweet was followed by Abhishek’s tweet which declared that both of them are tested positive and they are being shifted to Nanavati hospital. In the first antigen test Aiswarya Rai, Aaradhya, Jaya Bachan, Shweta Nanda and her kids all tested negative. But the swab test results next day declared Aishwarya and Aaradhya positive, they both opted for home isolation. All their four bungalows were sealed by BMC as contamination zone.
Celebs from the film fraternity as well as fans of the Bachchan family have been pouring in recovery wishes and prayers over social media. Fans across the country have been arranging prayers for the recovery of the megastar. Amitabh Bachchan had also expressed his gratitude towards COVID warriors and his well-wishers through numerous tweets ever since he is hospitalised.
A day after Bachchans were tested positive, veteran actor Anupam Kher’s mother and brother Raju Kher also tested positive to the deadly virus. The actor took to Twitter to share the same in a video message.
With 1,228 fresh cases, Mumbai’s COVID-19 count has increased to 98,979 today, according to data released by (BMC). The country has also crossed the deadly landmark of 1.04 million.
