It has been 60 days now that Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his Bandra residence in Mumbai on June 14, 2020. And his fans, followers, and family still await justice. Why this delay has happened, and who caused this delay? There are many such questions that the government must answer.
Why Mumbai Police declared it a suicide?
Within minutes of the discovery of Sushant Singh Rajput’s body, the Mumbai Police declared it a case of suicide. Why? Did they find any suicide note? No, they didn’t. Clearly, the Mumbai Police were in a hurry since the beginning. They have been trying to close the matter as soon as possible, even at the cost of justice. The Mumbai Police must answer this.
Why Mumbai Police didn’t follow the basic procedures?
It was learned that the body of Sushant Singh Rajput was already brought down before the Police arrived. Later, it did not take the body to the nearest hospital for postmortem. And the biggest question is why the Mumbai Police did not seal the crime scene?
Why Mumbai Police did not file any FIR?
Mumbai Police went on interrogating who’s who of the Bollywood in connection to Sushant Singh Rajput death. However, it did not file the FIR. So, on what basis the Mumbai Police was doing the investigation. Did Mumbai Police have the legal right to do so? And who stopped Mumbai Police from filing an FIR?
No interrogation of the close friends, girlfriend, and domestic aids?
Mumbai Police did not bother to question Sushant Singh Rajput’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and his other friends. Whereas, various media houses could track them down and questioned them about their role in this case. Why Mumbai Police ignored this angle?
Why no investigation of Disha Salian’s death?
Interestingly, Mumbai Police did not bother to draw links between the deaths of actor Sushant Singh Rajput and his former manager Disha Salian who died a week before him. Did Mumbai Police deliberately ignored this angle?
No investigation of the phone call records?
As per the call records of Rhea Chakraborty, she was in contact with some “AU”. Eventually, Rhea made the last call to AU only on the night of June 13, almost 7-8 hours before Sushant was found dead. Why the Mumbai Police did not investigate the call records?
No follow up on the trail of Rs 15 crore?
The Mumbai Police also deliberately ignored the angle of financial irregularities. Why Mumbai Police did not investigate the bank transactions between Sushant Singh Rajput and Rhea Chakraborty?
Why Mumbai Police did not act on complaints submitted in February?
The family of Sushant Singh Rajput had this fear that Sushant was under trouble. And they duly registered their concerns with the Mumbai Police as well in the month of February 2020. However, the Mumbai Police did not do anything on that?
Why no support to Bihar Police?
Finally, when the Bihar Police lodged the FIR and started the investigation, the Mumbai Police did not provide any support to them. It even put Bihar Police’s senior officer into home quarantine. Why?
Why opposing CBI investigation?
Why the government of Maharashtra and the Mumbai Police kept opposing the CBI probe in this case? What kind of fear they had that they straightway rejected the proposal of referring the case to the CBI?
If Mumbai Police could have done its duty honestly, Sushant Singh Rajput and Disha Salian’s death mysteries would have been solved by now. The fans and the family of the deceased would have got the justice delivered by now.
However, as the CBI has started the investigation and is revealing new facts almost every day, the nation is hopeful that the talented actor would get justice, after all.
